Psychological Assessment Stage 2: Diagnosis interview - Parent/child meeting with the psychologist for a diagnostic interview, usually 1-1/2 – 2 hours. Diagnostic interviews help us thoroughly understand the difficulties the child is experiencing and determine the level of psychological testing necessary to answer your referral question.
