Sews fabric and materials together with thread.<br><br>PLEASE NOTE: The Makerspace staff can give you a beginner lesson in sewing where you make a simple tote bag. If you’d like to do anything more advanced – book an appointment with our sewing volunteer through the library calendar. <br><br>We provide thread, seam rippers, pins, measuring tape, safety pins, scissors, lint rollers, and limited miscellaneous supplies. You will need to provide all fabric and specialty supplies for your project.
120 minCustomizes ceramic mugs!<br>Mugs and sheets of infusible ink can be purchased for $5 each from the Makerspace, but it is highly recommended to bring your own supplies as we cannot guarantee inventory.<br>If you bring your own material, it must be compatible with the Cricut Mug Press. 120 minCuts out shapes and designs from vinyl. Use the heat press to put design on fabric.<br>Cost: $0.50 per square foot. <br>We have a Roland Vinyl Cutter and a Cricut Maker 3. The Cricut is capable of doing more than just vinyl, you will need to bring your own supplies.<br><br>If using the heat press, please bring your fabric material.

120 minCreate a design using decorative stitching from a pre-programmed digital embroidery pattern. <br>This is a new piece of equipment, and our staff is still getting familiar with it. Pre-programmed designs and simple custom designs can typically be done in one appointment. Complex custom designs may require one appointment for prepping the design and a follow-up appointment to embroider. <br>Maximum design size is 4 x 4 inches.
