Terms and Conditions for Entry Onto the Georgetown Presbyterian Church Property

Entry by any individual onto the property of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church (“GPC”) located at 3115 P Street, Northwest, Washington, District of Columbia, is expressly subject to the terms and conditions stated herein. By choosing to enter onto the property of GPC, you expressly agree, on behalf of yourself and any minor or ward in your charge entering with you, to each and every term and condition stated herein. Any individual that does not agree with the terms and conditions stated herein IS PROHIBITED FROM ENTERING the property of GPC.

ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK! Due to the SARS-CoV-2 (“COVID-19”) pandemic, entry onto the property of GPC may result in you, or any individual accompanying you, contracting or transmitting the COVID-19 virus. The COVID-19 virus presents a risk of illness, including, but not limited to, serious disease requiring hospitalization, permanent disability, and death. The Trustees of the Presbyterian Congregation in Georgetown, the officers and staff of GPC, and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), including all subsidiary and affiliated legal entities thereof, make no guarantee, assurance, or warranty of any kind whatsoever, whether express or implied, about the risk of contracting or transmitting the COVID-19 virus. By choosing to enter onto the property of GPC, YOU EXPRESSLY, VOLUNTARILY, AND WILLINGLY ARE ASSUMING on behalf of yourself, and any minor or ward in your care, ANY AND ALL RISKS RELATED TO COVID-19 THAT MAY RESULT from entry onto the property of GPC.

Further, by choosing to enter onto the property of GPC, you expressly waive, release, and discharge, on behalf of yourself, on behalf of any minor or ward in your care, and on behalf of any and all heirs, beneficiaries, and assigns, any and all liability, claims, causes of action, and damages, whether under law or equity, existing now or arising in the future, including, but not limited to, claims of negligence, against the Trustees of the Presbyterian Congregation in Georgetown, the officers and staff of GPC, and the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), including all subsidiary and affiliated legal entities thereof, that arise from or are in any way connected to contracting or transmitting the COVID-19 virus by entering onto the property of GPC.

If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or have been in close contact with any individual diagnosed with, exhibiting symptoms of, or suspected of having COVID-19, YOU ARE INSTRUCTED NOT TO ENTER onto the property of GPC until you are free of any symptoms of illness for two weeks or otherwise are cleared by a medical professional as not presenting any risk of transmitting COVID-19 to others. This prohibition extends to any minor or ward in your care.

In consideration of the health of others, if you have been diagnosed with a contagious illness other than COVID-19, are experiencing symptoms of a potentially contagious illness other than the symptoms for COVID-19, or have been in close contact with any individual diagnosed with or experiencing symptoms of a potentially contagious illness other than COVID-19, you are strongly urged not to enter onto the property of GPC until you are free of any symptoms of illness for two weeks or otherwise are cleared by a medical professional as not being contagious.

If you, or any minor or ward in your care, enters onto the property of GPC and are subsequently diagnosed with COVID-19, subsequently exhibit symptoms of COVID-19, or if, prior to entering onto the property of GPC, you had been in close contact with someone who subsequently is diagnosed with, exhibiting symptoms of, or are suspected of having COVID-19, YOU ARE INSTRUCTED TO IMMEDIATELY INFORM THE GPC CHURCH OFFICE at 202-338-1644 or info@gtownpres.org.
