Book an Appointment with Selkirk College: The Writing Centre is now closed for the semester. Have a great summer! We are looking forward to working with you in the Fall.

Types of appointments:
Email appointments include written feedback only. This is helpful when you cannot make it to an appointment time or already have a draft written.
Zoom appointments include written and verbal feedback. This is helpful when you aren\'t sure where to start, have specific questions, want to speak with a tutor.

Booking instructions:
Students are allowed to book up to one hour per week. This could be one 1 hour appointment or two 30 minute appointments. If you book more than 1 hour, additional time will be cancelled. If you need to change or cancel your appointment please email us at least 24 hours before your appointment. If you miss 2 appointments, all your future appointments will be canceled and you will be required to speak to a writing centre tutor before being allowed to book more appointments. Please know that the schedule is subject to change. You will be emailed if your appointment time needs to change.

Cancelation list:
Can\'t find a time that works? Email your assignment (in word), your instructor\'s guidelines, and any questions/concerns you may have to with the subject line "Cancellation List / the date you need the paper returned by" (for example: Cancellation list/ Dec. 10) and we will add you to the cancellation list!

Before your appointment time please email the following:
• your assignment (in Word),
• your instructor\'s guidelines, and
• any questions and/or concerns you have.

Prior to your appointment time, your tutor will email you a zoom link (if applicable) for you to access. During your appointment, your scheduled tutor will look at your writing and provide feedback. They will also answer any questions you have. They will email you back when they are finished reviewing your work.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact Kyle or Sarah at
